Our Philosophy: Breeding Healthy, Well-Socialized Maine Coons

Our Kings and Queens are carefully selected from exceptional bloodlines, with health, temperament, genetics, and pedigree as our top priorities. We aim to raise healthy, well-socialized Maine Coons who become cherished companions for years to come, while also contributing to the preservation and improvement of the breed we love.

  Raised as Part of the Family

We are a home-based cattery where all of our cats live with us as beloved family members. Every litter is raised with hands-on care, attention and love to ensure kittens are not only healthy, but also well-socialized and ready to become part of your family.

Health & Integrity in Breeding

We prioritize health and integrity in our breeding program. All of our breeding cats are DNA-tested and receive regular heart echocardiograms. Our cattery is FeLV and FIV negative, and we are registered with the Southern Africa Cat Council (SACC) since 2015, following their code of ethics.

​Located in the coastal neighborhood of Muizenberg in Cape Town, South Africa, we also offer safe and reliable delivery options throughout the country, making it easy to welcome a Dark Moon Maine Coon kitten into your home.

Reservation Process

The only  way to  reserve a kitten is to be approved through an application. 
​Once kittens are 10-12 weeks old, applications open up & you may submit an application.
